KENNETH REACHES THE SUMMIT

Kenneth & Gary Teale                                                     Kenneth's Saltire Summit Cake

Kenneth receives his award from Garry Teale St Mirren Manager

The Summit Award

At the age of twenty two Kenneth Melville has reached the pinnacle in volunteering by completing over 500 hours this is an award rarely achieved by someone so young .   Kenneth is a lad every mother would be proud of a hard worker who genuinely cares about people and equality and never shirks responsibility.

He juggles his life between the Carers Centre where he works and his studies at college where he has attained a HNC in computer software design plus many other qualifications, his hobbies include supporting St Mirren and American Football which he used to play but gave it up because it was interfering with his volunteering activities.

Renfrewshire Access Panel are privileged to have a this amazing young man as a member, he is a credit to youth of Scotland and the perfect role model for children.

Renfrewshire Access Panel would like to thank Council leader Mark McMillan for presenting the award and unfortunately had to leave before the photos. We also arranged a surprise for Kenneth, a Quaich and arranged for St Mirren Manager Gary Teale to present the Quaich. Renfrewshire Access Panel would like to say a huge Thank You to both Cllr Mark McMillan and Gary Teale.
