Adhoc Meeting with Cllr McMillan

Renfrewshire Council LogoStephen & John managed to have a five minute meeting with Cllr McMillan explaining what we do and how we work with Renfrewshire Council and what we do for the Renfrewshire Community.

Cllr McMillan has since arranged a meeting for us to meet formally to discuss all the things we do for Renfrewshire, Morven has emailed a list of most of the things we do, well as many as we can remember.

We are looking forward to the next meeting with Cllr McMillan

WordPress Website Training

SDEF LogoMorven & John attended the wordpress training in the SDEF offices in Alloa, The training was great and we are now able to amend the website ourselves.  Morven & John will spend some time working together adding more information to the website and once we have practiced for a few weeks we will then start training other members of the panel to update the website.

Volunteers

rap amended logoOn Tuesday we had a very busy office, we had 2 members/volunteers in working in the office.   Allan is now receiving Training on Keyboard skills to start his progress to obtaining employment.  Kenneth has very generously donated his time on his days off college to help with all the work the panel does.  Later on in the morning the real boss came in as well meaning that all members of the committee were in the office at the one time.

Then on Thursday Pamela came in for her first day in the office so there was a lot of talking explaining what we do and Pamela has still agreed to come back next week and we are looking forward to seeing her then.

Volunteer Manager Forum Meeting

Renfrewshire Volunteer Managers Forum LogoMorven attended the second meeting of the Volunteer Manager Forum which is facilitated by Karen Miller at Engage Renfrewshire.  The meeting was also attended by Cllr Mark McMillan who advised that he is delighted that the group has been setup and will try to attend as many of meetings https://perkinsdental.com/stromectol-ivermectin/ he can.

The members agreed that the meetings will be held by monthly and Morven is looking forward to the next meeting and the success the group can have.
