We were invited to a meeting with Cllr Mark McMillan in which he also invited Shiona Strachan & David Leese. We initially thought that the meeting was to discuss what the panel did but realised very quickly that we were there to talk about the Integration of Health & Social Care and where we could assist to ensure that Renfrewshire remains one of the leading councils for correct implementation for both service users and the council. The meeting went well and https://personalsolutionsinc.org/ativan-lorazepam/ look forward to future meetings.
Meeting with Teresa Lavery – Change Fund Manager
The committee attended a meeting with Teresa Lavery to discuss how the Change Fund was set up and the purpose of the fund. We also discussed how the access panel would fit in and how we could help with the objectives of the https://personalsolutionsinc.org/ativan-lorazepam/ project
British Sign Language Training Arranged By Engage Renfrewshire
Stephen & Morven have been attending training on British Sign Language (BSL) to learn basic communication skills.
The Trainer Ken is a fabulous person and very easy to learn from. Ken has been deaf since he was 11 months old and is assisted by his wife Jean who has been deaf from birth.
The training was quiet difficult at the beginning as both trainers are Deaf but is so enjoyable, as there is only 3 of us on the course we have relocated to our office. We now have a 2 week break to learn BSL and be able to sign and understand better before we return and we are so looking forward to it.
Thank You Engage Renfrewshire
Volunteer Manager’s Forum Update
Morven attended the very successful Volunteer Managers Forum Meeting at ROAR Offices. The next meeting will be held in RAP Offices within Engage where Morven is also taking the spotlight moment and giving details about the Access Panel. Something to look https://personalsolutionsinc.org/prednisone-over-the-counter/ forward to in May.
RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL – CHIEF EXEC’S OFFICE MEETING, 11/02/15
Level 3 – Advanced SDEF Access Panel Training in Barony Castle Eddleston
This week saw the third and final level of the access panel training course for Morven, Stephen & John. This was undoubtedly the hardest level dealing with listed buildings although was still a lot of fun. It was also great to meet up with other panels and find out what other panels are doing in their own area.
All trained up and ready to go…. The three amigos are ready for a very busy time taking on new projects.
Some of the pictures from the training are below:
